An art gallery displays an exhibit of photographs. Two people meet for the first time - or
do they? Perhaps they've met before. Perhaps they know each other quite well. An introverted artist
and his ex-wife enjoy a twisted trip down memory lane.
1 Man, 1 Woman.
Finalist, Heartland Theatre Company Ten-Minute Play Contest, 2007.
I think the whole exhibit is pretentious crap, with nothing of value to offer. I hope this so-called
"artist" didn't quit his day job.
You don't have to hold back. You can tell me what you really think.
Photos of shoes? I mean, I just don't get modern art. What is the world coming to? This one - Sandal,
1998. I bet if you asked the people over there, they would feed you some line about how... I don't
know, it's a commentary on urban isolation, and the loneliness of contemporary American life. But I
mean, come on! It's a shoe stuck in a door.
I don't know, I think it's more than that. I think it's a mystery. An unfinished story.
