Wild Katzy: hi
kellie rai: yo
Wild Katzy: i haaaaaate stage craaaaaaaaaft
kellie rai: me too.
kellie rai: was Thetard there on Friday?
Wild Katzy: how did your project turn out? (no)
kellie rai: what project?
kellie rai: the "resident expert" thing?
Wild Katzy: yes
kellie rai: I haven't had a chance to do anything for it yet.
kellie rai: ha ha ha... yeah.
kellie rai: I'm afraid.
Wild Katzy: isn't it like due tomorrow or something/
kellie rai: well, see, since Thetard cancelled class on Thursday, then it might not be...
Wild Katzy: maybe
kellie rai: i'm kinda praying.
kellie rai: either that or that Jessica will have enough done that we can fake it.
kellie rai: :-)
Wild Katzy: although, if that were true she probably would have told me when i called her to check my project idea
Wild Katzy: do we actually have to demonstrate the thing?
kellie rai: oh. well shit.
kellie rai: that's not cool.
kellie rai: when did you call her?
Wild Katzy: nope
Wild Katzy: friday
kellie rai: was she there on friday or not?
Wild Katzy: nope
kellie rai: well... that could be a good sign. plus, Jessica and I were supposed to learn wall papering from her at some point. maybe we'll just get together after school on monday and get it all put together before 6:00.
kellie rai: I can pray, can't I?

I feel better today. I'm posting on U-High Underground. Care to join me?

There are some updates. Mostly I'm studying and "taking it easy," which means taking periodic naps and eating only corn flakes. Hope everyone is having a peachy Saturday. Hasta luego.

Today I stayed home from school, feeling nauseated. I slept a lot, threw up a little, and did a little update-ing.

I really should stay off the line in case my mom calls me. Plus I want to go crawl into bed and die, and stuff.

I typed a REAL entry, but Blogger KILLED IT. Here's the gist of it, as related to "The White Stick's" Away Message.

kellie rai: Stick.
Auto response from The White Stick: Doing that thing you do.
kellie rai: I didn't get into the GI.
kellie rai: She went with Politics over Talent & Experience.
kellie rai: Snobby though this may be, my fragile ego demands that I believe she did this to spite me.
kellie rai: She told me that I did a wonderful job but the part she wanted me for was designed for guy. She said that last night she had me in the cast, then today she changed her mind and put in David Nolan instead.
kellie rai: It's exactly what happened with one-acts last year - Ryan got "my" part because he was male.
kellie rai: Seriously, what does she have to gain by trying to convince me I should have been a man?
kellie rai: I'm really very glad that I didn't get in. If I had gotten David's part, it would have sucked.
kellie rai: I would have been working with three people I hate: Jen, Rebecca, and worst of all, Mrs. T.
kellie rai: Anyway, I can't let her make me believe that I wouldn't have been a hell of a lot better than Rebecca Holtzman.

I thought that Thetard's opinion meant so little to me, that I hated her so much, that she couldn't hurt me anymore. Well, BRAVO, Tea Bag, you proved me wrong.

Bra-Fucking-Vo.

Sam Slam broke up with Doug. Sigh. Pobre tomate. I can think of almost no one who deserves to have his heart broken less than Bugless.

Oh, and in case you missed this, Eric and Julie are back together.

This has been a broadcast of Gossip Inc. Please tune in next week, when we discuss Justin's sex life. Or lack thereof. (Theme music.)

So yesterday we had a speech meet in Morton. I didn't break. I was ranked 2nd and 3rd in Round 2, but only 5th in Round 1. So, yeah, pity me. Anyway. David Foster placed first in Original Oratory (again) and 4th in Prose. Steven Michaels (sophomore) placed 1st in Radio. Over all, U-High was 8th of 21 schools, most of whom have bigger teams than us, so all in all it was a good day.

Today I'm working on my project on James W. Brown for Stagecraft, then at 5:00 I'm going over to Logan's.

Blessed be.

I'm sure you don't want to hear how busy I am. I'm sure you don't want to hear my to-do list. I will spare you that. I will only quickly mention that I'm busy, all the things I have to do are boring, and there is no information on the internet or in Milner Library about the scenic designer James W. Brown. (I'll have to make it all up. Mwahahaha. Tea Bag will never know the difference.)

I guess I'm going to audition for GI, though I actually am praying that she doesn't cast me, because then it will be like, "Oh, it's not my fault, she didn't cast me." as opposed to what will happen if she does cast me, "Oh my God I hate this show, I hate everyone in it, I hate Tea Bag, I want to throw myself off a bridge.") or what will happen if I don't audition. ("Kellie, I have decided to fail you in AP Lit and also in Stagecraft, because that is in my power. Mwahahaha!")

SIGH.

Sigh... I was moved to the back of the room in math class, and am now completely surrounded by the jocks I fight every day on the message board on U-High Underground.

My brother wants the computer. Sigh...

I am way, way, way, way, way busy. (Does that sound familiar?) More later. Probably.

I am faced with a tough decision - should I audition for GI or not? Mrs. T. will be directing, and it's a piece about the bombing of Hiroshima. On one hand, I am The GI Queen (two years in a row and an All-Sectional Cast Award). On the other hand, I had a miserable time during Imaginary Invalid, and I don't like her directing style. I think I will try out, I love acting... I am absolutely going to refuse to do tech though. It might be hell, but it's three more points, and I need them all. I must beat Sammi Dawson... (evil spasms of competitiveness.)

The Good Doctor has a performance tomorrow, and our friendly neighborhood White Stick will be there early to write and hang out. Logan, who doesn't have school till the 8th, the bitch, will be there around noon, so look for him in the longue. Oh, and I have decided to pick up 8:00 Shakespeare with Clesson. Josh, you'd better be happy. Well, my hour's almost over and I'm recording The Harry Chapin Gold Medal Collection for someone, so... Later!

Yay! The "Healthy Pets 4 You" website is done! I worked 12 hours and it is now finished! God, there's so much I want to do before we go back to school. Unfortunately, we go back to school on Wednesday. Ugh. Just to warn you, the number of "real" updates may possibly go from "seldom" to "almost never." I have to get up really, really, really early tomorrow morning to go with my mom while she does a blood test (of all the frickin' weird things...) If you happen to be reading this, there'll be a Good Doctor performance (another one? you say, and I nod.) at 3:00 on Wednesday. Then Theatrefest (yay!) will allow me to miss school Friday! Yay! Aite, things to do... Adios.

Oh, God, it's boring. I had a nice little New Year's Eve at Steph's house with Logan, Julie, Josh, Emily Baldoni, Justin, Cori, and Kat. This morning Steph was uber-hyper. (Oh, my Lord...) I got a few things recorded on my Digital Voice Recorder. Once the Sorak Website is finished, I am going to have all kinds of fun sound files and stuff. As soon as I get home today, there'll be a new Splash Page for January. Right now I'm just killing a little time till Will's diving practice is over. Gag.

Uber-thanks to Josh for writing me a monologue for Tomokofest... which may or may not actually happen. Oh, and there will be a STICK & CO. DINNER next weekend. Talk to Josh for more info, or check Vasconia Talk.
