"Spike Heels" & "Later" & "Dinner with Friends" Friday, March 21, 2008 The latest additions: Two Georgie monologues from Spike Heels by Theresa Rebeck. I've heard that the "You're not America, I am a America" monologue is overdone, so I chose two others - the one where she tells Andrew that she's decided not to quit her job, and the one where she tells off Lydia. The Lydia monologue that starts out, "I don't know you. You and I have never met. And you are wreaking havoc on my life." I already had the Kate monologue from Later by Corinne Jacker. I have now added a monologue from her sister Laurie and one from her mother, Molly. A great Gabe monologue from Dinner with Friends by Donald Margulies. Nina's monologue from the ten-minute play One Hundred Women by Kristina Halvorson. Long, beautiful, spectacular. Enjoy the new monologues and check back often for more updates.
